The Day of Memory and Reconciliation and 72th anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the World War II is celebrated in Juridical Personnel Training Institute for the Security Service of Ukraine
The cadets and teachers of the Juridical Personnel Training Institute for the Security Service of Ukraine honored the feat of the winners over Nazism in the World War II, liberators of Ukraine and the participants of Ukrainian liberation movement.
On the eve of the Day of Memory the territory around the communal grave of soldiers-liberators and the grave site of Unknown Soldier in the forestland of Derhachivskii district were harmonized.
In the Institute the meeting with the colonel Petro Omelianovych Koniushenko, who is the veteran of the World War II was held. He shared his own memories of heroism and courage of patriots, who gave their lives for peace and bright future of Ukraine.
The cadets visited the places of fierce fighting of the World War II in Kharkiv region, visited the modern museum exhibition dedicated to the participants of the anti-terrorist operation in East of Ukraine.
The representatives of the Institute honored the memory of the veterans of the World War II, who were working at the university and laid flowers to the monument of professors, employees and students who died for the independence of Ukraine.
On the occasion of the 72th anniversary of the Victory over Nazism in the World War II, the track and field athletics and pull-ups competitions were conducted in the cadets’ units.
The wall newspaper, exhibition of photographs, documentary and memoir literature prepared by the students of all courses are dedicated to the manfulness, courage and heroic exploits of our compatriots.
