Events, dedicating to 72-d anniversary of World War II termination and the Day of partisan glory, take place in Juridical Personnel Training Institute
The thematic lecture with the Head of Kharkiv regional committee of International Ukrainian union of veterans colonel Petro Koniushenko took place in the scientific and library complex of Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University.
During the lecture participants discussed importance of partisan movement in Ukraine and invaluable contribution of Ukrainian people in the victory in World War II. The conference on the occasion of 72-d anniversary of World War II termination and the Day of partisan glory also took place with the participation of cadets of Institute, veterans, professors and students of Kharkiv higher education establishments.
First-year students of the Institute visited scenes of the fighting and museum complexes, dedicated to memory of fallen underground members and partisans of Kharkiv region. In particular, the cadets visited Taranivsk museum of guardsmen, mass graves of soldiers, fallen in battles near Taranivka village.
In Sokolove village the cadets visited museum of combat brotherhood and looked over exhibits, dedicated to kindergarten combat of Czeho-Slovak battalion under command of lieutenant-colonel Luydvih Svoboda.
Besides, the cadets visited member of partisan movement Pietuhov Oleksiy Petrovych, who took part in battles within Fedorov and Kovpak partisan parties in Kharkiv and Sumy regions.
