SBU apprehends a fake ‘’Kyiv Peoples’ Republic’’ agitator in the capital
The SBU officers apprehended a fake “Kyiv Peoples’ Republic” agitator in the capital.
The man used computers for the visitors of one of the Kyiv social institutions to publish electronic versions of leaflets calling for creating “peoples’ republic”.
In the process of searches in the criminal’s dwelling SBU officers revealed e-mails from addressees from temporarily occupied territories containing models of separatist agitation messages (“ahitki”). Materials with a call for conducting “people’s referendum” on the creation of the so-called “Kyiv Republic” were confiscated.
In terms of the pre-trial investigation the SBU officers check the contacts of the agitator, who is a former worker of one of the municipal institutions in the capital.
The criminal is informed about the suspicion in committing a crime upon Part 2, Article 110 of the Criminal Core of Ukraine.
The pre-trial investigation is under way.
