SBU forbids Russian citizen, priest of Russian Orthodox Church, member of DNR illegal armed formation entrance to Ukraine
The SBU forbid a citizen of the Russian Federation, a church deacon of a Russian Orthodox Church eparchy, a member of illegal armed formations of DNR terrorist organization entrance to Ukraine.
For the first time this 34-year old citizen came to the temporarily occupied territories together with a mercenaries’ enclosure in August 2014. As an off-line chaplain, he factually was a staff agitator: he gave interviews and made films in which he denied the existence of Ukraine and Ukrainian people, called for Ukraine’s liquidation, joining of Certain Districts of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions to the Russian Federation. In his profile in a Russian social network, this “testament person” propagates aggressive war and the supremacy of one religion over the other.
The actions of the priest are encroachment on the territorial integrity of Ukraine, stirring up national hatred that harm the national interests of Ukraine. He is forbidden to enter the territory of Ukraine for three years.
The issue of launching a criminal case is being settled.
