Dnipro: SBU blocks weapons and ammunition transfer from the ATO area (video)
SBU in cooperation with the police blocked the transfers of arms and ammunition from the ATO area in Pavlohrad.
Law enforcement established that a local citizen stored a large amount of weapons used for criminal purposes in his own flat. He was receiving weapons from his acquaintances who regularly visited the ATO area.
Following the searches the SBU operatives seized three Kalashnikov assault rifles, sawed-off shotgun, five F-1, RGD-5 and RGN grenades with fuses, TNT cartridge, about 500 rounds of different caliber and a suppressor.
The criminal was notified of suspicion in the framework of criminal proceedings initiated under Part 1 Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and is now in custody.
Urgent investigative and operative actions, to include identification of any other individuals involved in weapons transfers are under way.
