SBU returns home patriot illegally detained by LNR terrorists
SBU officers returned home a student of Vinnytsia higher educational establishment, who was detained by the militants of the terrorist organization “LNR”.
The law enforcers established that the resident of Luhansk region in 2017 went to Luhansk which was temporarily uncontrolled by Ukrainian authorities for resolving the property issues together with his parents. Staying in the city, the boy together with public-spirited local residents ran up Ukrainian flag on the flagstaff near the school where he had previously studied. The patriots also painted the national symbols on the front of the school building.
The young men were detained by the members of illegal armed formations and forcibly captured in the building of the local penitentiary institution. At the same time, Ukrainian prisoners were interrogated by the representatives of the so-called “MGB LNR”, who used the methods of the psychological and physical pressure.
Due to the effective operative combination, the SBU officers transported the illegally detained young man to the territory under the control of Ukrainian authorities and returned to Vinnytsia.
According to the materials of the SBU Office in Vinnytsia region, the criminal proceeding was initiated under Part 1 Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
