SBU starts confidence test of officials of PJSC DniproAZOT
The SBU starts confidence test of the officials of the PJSC DniproAzot that led to the deficit of the liquid chlorine, the main reagent for unobstructed providing of the drinking water for the population. It caused the preconditions for violating the normal functioning of the critical infrastructure facilities and the danger to human health.
From June 15, 2018, the administration of PJSC DniproAZOT stopped producing and shipment of the liquid chlorine for the Ukrainian water supply companies, violating of contractual obligations and without prior warning. It made impossible to disinfect the drinking water, caused the threat of mass poisoning and spreading of epidemics. At the same time, the SBU checks the justification of increasing the cost of the reagent on the way from the manufacturer to the final consumer.
According to the results of the test, the SBU investigators will make a decision on the classification of the persons involved in the artificial creation of the preconditions for the emergency situation under the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
