SBU commemorates the victims of Babyi Yar tragedy
The SBU officers Representatives took part in the ceremony honouring the victims of Babyi Yar tragedy.
The mass shootings of civilians, mostly Jewish and Romanian, began in Kyiv Babyi Yar this day 77 years ago. There and then in the first days were killed tens of thousands of people, including members of the Ukrainian underground were killed for the initial few days.
The officials of Ukrainian special service commemorated a minute of silence in tribute to the memory of victims of tragedy. The SBU Deputy Head, Vadym Poyarkov, on behalf of the SBU headship and staff took part in laying flowers to the memorial plate of victims of the genocide.
