SBU National Academy signs memorandum on cooperation with National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine
The ceremonial signing of the Cooperation agreement was held between the SBU National Academy and the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine in the framework of deepening the cooperation in educational and scientific spheres.
The agreement conclusion is directed on activation and consolidation of efforts of leading scientists in the development of the fundamentals of State policy, drafts of laws, strategies, concepts and programs in the sphere of national, state and information security. “Today our state needs a coordinated consolidated position of experts to defend public interests, the rule of law and justice,” said Serhii Kudinov, the rector of SBU National Academy.
Oleksandr Petryshyn the academician, Head of the National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine, also noted the importance of signing this agreement in accordance with scientific and practical cooperation on the issues of scientific, educational-scientific, rule making and law-enforcement activity.
“Question of the quality of the Ukrainian legislation, its adaptation to the best European models, bringing it in accordance with the Euro-Atlantic bloc standards today is extremely important. I am sure that the signing of the memorandum will reinforce ours and yours positions,” summarized Petryshyn.
Notable, scientists of both institutions began to implement joint projects since the 90-ies. “But the situation in the security sector
of the country requires a new level of cooperation”, said Volodymyr Pylypchuk the corresponding member, the Director of Scientific Research Institute of Informatics and Law of National Academy of Legal Sciences of Ukraine.
Also during the signing of agreement, the officials discussed the perspectives of cooperation development, issues of training the higher qualification personnel, conducting joint research works on legal issues of state sovereignty, constitutional and territorial integrity protection of Ukraine.
