SBU identifies administrators of anti-Ukrainian groups in social networks (video)
During September-October, the SBU officers within the framework of counterintelligence protection of the state's interests in information security blocked the activity of interregional network of anti-Ukrainian web-based agitators, acting for the benefit of the aggressor country.
The SBU operatives exposed nine pro-Russian propagandists in Odesa, Kyiv and Sieverodonetsk. The criminals, financed by the representatives of Russia’s secret services, published the tailored political news sent from Russia and called for the protests and mass unrest. The information agents of Kremlin posted the appeals to overthrow the constitutional system and the government in our country and to support “DNR/LNR” terrorists.
According to the plan of Russian supervisors, the propagandists had to manipulate the public opinion of Internet users and influence the course of the oncoming Presidential elections in Ukraine.
The SBU applies once again to the citizens to be attentive, not to fall under negative informational influence from controlled by the Russia intelligence services’ propagandists and not to assist the criminals in distributing fake “news”.
