SBU expels to Belarus pro-Russian agitprop pro who served aggressor country interests
The Security Service of Ukraine blocked the destructive activities of a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, P. Karnazytskyi, who distributed anti-Ukrainian propaganda on the territory of our state.
The SBU operatives established that a foreigner, while living in Ukraine illegally, publicly distributed fake information. In particular, in course of his TV appearances, he questioned the internationally recognized evidence of aggressor country troops being present in the temporarily occupied territories of our state.
P. Karnazytskyi also repeatedly published anti-Ukrainian materials on media resources controlled by DNR and LNR terrorist organizations.
After the introduction of entrance restrictions for Russian citizens visiting Ukraine, the Russian Special Services increasingly involve foreigners in their provocations, SBU Head Vasyl Hrytsak noted. “The activity of such Russia-sponsored propaganda professionals poses a threat to the national interests of Ukraine and contradicts the legislation of their native countries,” said the SBU Head.
On January 2, 2019, the foreigner was forcibly returned to the Republic of Belarus with a ban of entry into Ukraine for 3-years period.
