SBU detains “russkiy mir” agitprop pro deported from Russia
The SBU detained an anti-Ukrainian propaganda expert recently deported from Russian territory.
Since 2014, the agitator distributed anti-Ukrainian materials in the Internet, promoting a stand-off between Ukrainians for political beliefs, publicly appealing to violate the territorial integrity of Ukraine. In August 2015, she travelled to the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine and then to Russia. The agitator constantly appealed to change the territorial boundaries or forms of government of Ukraine.
On 14 December last year she was put on ‘wanted’ list, on 15 December Galytskyi District Court of Lviv granted permission for her apprehension, so as to ensure court attendance for enforcing custody as a measure of restraint.
The investigation of the criminal proceeding was initiated under Part 2 Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and is conducted by an investigative unit of Lviv Regional SBU Centre.
The investigative actions are under way.
