Lugansk region: SBU prevents selling of weapons
SBU officers involved in the Joint Forces Operation along with the National Police unveiled a resident of Lugansk region engaged in weapon sales.
Within the open criminal proceeding law enforcers detained the citizen of Severodonetsk selling three anti-tank missile launchers. Earlier, SBU operatives documented the sale of eight TNT blocks weighting 600 grams, 15 grenades with fuses and more that 1,500 different-caliber ammo.
The detainee was served a notice of suspicion in committing the crime stipulated by Part 1 Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The measure of restraint in the form of detention is chosen.
The investigative actions are ongoing in order to identify all circumstances of the case, sources of weapons and other individuals involved in illegal activity.
