Bukovyna: SBU prevents export of military goods from Ukraine
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine prevented in Chernivtsi region illegal export from our country of military and dual-use goods subjected to state export control.
Special service operatives established that a resident of the region has acquired a daytime surveillance device for armored vehicles and a radiation dose meter through the Internet. The mentioned equipment was planned to be taken out abroad without registration of the corresponding permits, by hiding the goods in his own minibus.
Law enforcers detained an intruder during a customs inspection at the Mamalyha-Kryva checkpoint.
Within the framework of initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 333 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, investigative and operational actions are ongoing to bring to justice other persons involved in illegal activities.
