Dnipropetrovsk region: SBU blocks large-scale sale of drugs and psychotropic substances (video)
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine, under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office, blocked in Dnipropetrovsk region a large-scale sale of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances in the territory of our country, some of which were smuggled.
Special service operatives have established that orders for "goods" were accepted via the Internet and sent to clients throughout Ukraine.
In due course of carrying authorized investigations at the places of residence of the person involved in the proceedings, resident of Novomoskovsk, law enforcement officers detected almost seven hundred and fifty grams of meth, three hundred grams of methadone, twenty five grams of cocaine, thirty grams of amphetamine, sixty grams of opium extraction, over one and a half kilogram of cannabis, special equipment for weighing and packing of "goods".
The seized drugs are sent for examination. Their approximate price at the prices of the "black market" comprises more than two million hryvnias.
A person involved in the proceedings detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Ukraine. He served a notice of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 2 of Art. 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Full time house arrest was chosen as a restraint measure for the offender.
Investigative actions are ongoing to bring to justice all persons involved in unlawful activities.
