SBU prevents the contract murder of two women in Kyiv region
During a special operation in Kyiv region, law enforcement officers prevented the contract murder of two women and detained the organizers and perpetrators who planned the crime.
Operatives of the Security Service of Ukraine received information that a resident of Brovary, who is the owner of an industrial construction company, through an intermediary is searching for the perpetrator to commit murder. It was established that the offender had "ordered" his ex-wife and her daughter due to litigation on the separation of property after the divorce.
According to the information received, the former spouse appealed through the court the right of property, in particular for business interests, real and personal property, including a private jet.
For the murder, the "customer", along with his third wife, offered the perpetrator USD 50,000.
In order to prevent the high crime, the SBU operatives led a mediator on a conditional "killer". To provide “evidence of task performing”, it was conducted a control of crime committing and simulation of a murder of citizens. To confirm the "liquidation of the victims" for the customer were made appropriate staged photos and information on their disappearance was disclosed.
Law enforcement officers detained the organizer and his wife at the place of residence. An intermediary was also detained on one of Brovary streets, and his wife, with whom he had conspired, was detained in own residence.
The issue on serving a notice of suspicion of committing a crime to the criminals and choosing a custody as a measure of restraint is now being settled. Within the framework of initiated criminal proceedings under Part 1 Art. 14, cl. 11, Part 2 Art. 115 (Premeditated murder) investigative proceedings are ongoing.
The detection and detention measures were conducted by the special-purpose unit of combating corruption and organized crime of the SBU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region jointly with the police investigators under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of Kyiv region.
