Mariupol: SBU detains State Service official on bribe taking
SBU exposed Deputy Director of State Service for Geodesy and Cartography Division on systematic bribes for assigning the cadastral numbers while issuing documents for land plots in Donetsk region.
SBU operatives established that the official demanded money from single mother of two children, who wanted to legalise land title for land plot of her private household. After receiving the first part of the illegal financial gain amounting to UAH 3,500 (USD 140) the official issued the woman a false document without signatures and seals. Then he continued to draw up the documents violating the procedural norms.
