SBU team - medalist of Football Championship of ATO Veterans League
SBU Central Department team “SB TEAM” became a bronze medallist of the Football Championship of ATO Veterans League 2019 in Kyiv City division, getting into the final part of competition for ATO Heroes Supercup 2019.
On September 28 in Vyshneve town (Kyiv suburb) welcomed the 5th Football Championship of ATO Veterans League between regional divisions “Pivnich” and “Kyiv”.
The best 8 teams among 24 finalists for the ATO Heroes Supercup 2019 were defined.

Five years in a row, ATO Veterans Football Federation organises and funds the Championship under the aegis of All-Ukrainian Union of ATO Veterans “Ukrayintsi razom!” with support of the Football Federation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the SBU, the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, the National Police, the State Emergency Service, State Service on matters of veterans and ATO veterans, FC Dynamo (Kyiv). This year a newly created Ministry on veterans matters took part in the Championship, too.
ATO Veterans Football League is the only football championship among the ATO/JFO veterans, where all the participants are combatants who were defending Ukraine.
All-Ukrainian Football Championship of ATO Veterans League 2019 consists of 88 teams, up to 3000 servicemen, who compete in two cycles (spring and autumn) in 6 divisions: “West”, “East”, “North”, “South”, “Centre” and “Kyiv”. The grand prize of the season is the ATO Heroes Supercup.
Following the results of the elimination group round, 24 best teams from regional divisions will try their fortune competing for the passing ATO Heroes Supercup at the Valerii Lobanovskyi Dynamo stadium on October, 11, on the occasion of the Defender of Ukraine Day.
