SBU releases hostage seized by his own employers in Dnipro
The SBU officers together with the Police released a hostage who was forcedly kept by his own employers in Dnipro.
The law enforcers got information that in the regional center two unknown persons forcedly kidnapped a local resident and took him in unidentified direction. During the special operation the SBU officers recorded the whereabouts of the hostage who was forcedly kept in rented premises in Taromske village in Dnipropetrovsk region.
The SBU officers established that the kidnappers were two employers of the man. In the process of audit of their own firm they recorded lack of some thousand UAH and accused their employee. To “compensate” losses the criminals kidnapped him and forced to make a part of property over to a third person. One of the criminals was caught by the law enforcers while releasing the hostage.
A criminal case under Part 2 Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Urgent investigative actions are under way to apprehend the second kidnapper.
