Chernihiv region: SBU identifies administrators of anti-Ukrainian communities in social networks
The SBU officers in the Chernihiv region under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's Office identified an administrator of anti-Ukrainian communities in social networks.
The law enforcers established that a resident of Pryluky region administered anti-Ukrainian groups in social networks using earlier created accounts.
The SBU operatives documented that the criminal distributed materials with appeals to change the borders of Ukraine, to overthrow the constitutional system and state power, advocated the activities of “LNR/DNR” terrorist organizations, distributed information that discredits the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
During the investigations at the administrator’s residence, the SBU officers seized computer equipment and mobile devices with evidence of anti-Ukrainian activity.
The actions of the criminal are qualified under Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
In the framework of open criminal proceeding, law enforcers will check the links between the agitprop pro, the Russian special services and the militants of the separatist-held territories.
The issue about serving a notice of suspicion in committing a crime to the criminal is now being settled. The urgent investigations are under way.
