Odessa: SBU exposes anti-Ukrainian Internet agitator
SBU officers identified Odessa resident who used banned Russian social networks to distribute anti-Ukrainian materials.
The SBU operatives established that the female regularly used her personal page to appeal for a change of the state border and constitutional system of Ukraine and to publish materials white-washing the “DNR/LNR” terrorist organizations. The propagandist received publications from Russian propaganda Internet hubs and the militants’ media sites run from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
The criminal was detained at her residence, immediately after her return from yet another visit to the aggressor country.
During the search law enforcers seized computer hardware and mobile devices with separatists materials.
In the framework of initiated criminal proceeding by Part 1 Art. 110 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine the detainee was served a notice of suspicion in committing the crime.
In order to identify other episodes of illegal activity the investigative actions are ongoing.
