Kharkiv: SBU blocks criminal group activity
SBU officers in Kharkiv exposed organized group on keeping arsenal of weapons.
During authorized investigations in the framework of previously initiated criminal proceeding, law enforcers exposed at residence places of group members AKS-74 Kalashnikov guns, pistols and ammo. According to the SBU information, seized means of destruction were smuggled from the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine.
Currently law enforcers check the possible involvement of the group members in attack on the head of a leading regional media due to his professional activity that took place at the end of last year.
The criminals were served a notice of suspicion in committing the crime stipulated by Part 1 Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A custody was chosen as a measure of restraint against three persons involved is being chosen.
The operation concerning the criminals detection was conducted jointly with the National Police under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's Office in Kharkiv region.
