SBU exposes illegal scheme of food supply to Russia-occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions (ORDLO)
Employees of the Security Service of Ukraine exposed the unlawful activities of the group of people who organized the scheme of food supply on the territory of the ORDLO.
Special service operatives have established that during 2017, two domestic commercial enterprises had to export food to foreign companies in transit through the territory of Russia.
Instead, the dealers made illegal food supplies to the temporarily occupied territories of our state for a total amount of more than five hundred million hryvnias. After crossing the Ukrainian-Russian border, the products under the scheme of "interrupted transit" were delivered by the organizers of an illegal scheme in the territory of the ORDLO.
According to the results of criminal proceedings, only one of the food supply contracts allegedly to one of the African countries has been counted and confirmed by the expert examination on the losses caused to the state budget in the amount of seven million and seven hundred thousand hryvnias.
At present, investigators of the SBU served notice of suspicion to three involved persons under Part 5 of Art. 191 and Part 2 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The investigation is ongoing.
Measures to expose and block illegal activities were conducted under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office of the Kyiv region.
