SBU counterintelligence exposes two Ukrainian citizens on transmitting information about JFO forces to terrorists
SBU CI officers blocked the unlawful activity of two Ukrainian citizens who provided terrorist groups of the so-called “LNR” with intelligence on the units involved in the Joint Forces Operation.
During the pre-trial investigation, evidence was found that a resident of Ukraine-controlled part of Luhansk region was gathering information about the forces and means of the Ukrainian law enforcement agencies and the Army, engaged in repelling the armed aggression against our country. She passed the received data to another citizen of Ukraine, a terrorist of the so-called “People’s Militia” (4th Separate Brigade, 2nd AK) of the terrorist organization “LNR”.
Both citizens were served notice of suspicion of criminal offences stipulated by Part 2 Art. 110 (“Trespass against territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine”) and Part 1 Art. 258-3 (“Creation of a terrorist group or terrorist organization”) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The case materials were sent to court.
