SBU holds mass anti-terrorist training in Dnipro
The SBU held mass anti-terrorist training in Dnipro.
The units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the Police, State Emergency Service, the border guards, representatives of regional, local authorities and other agencies of fighting terrorism also took part in the training conducted under realistic conditions.
Under the legend of the training the first ‘sabotage’ group planned to mine one of the military facilities in Chapli village. It was demined during the attempt to slice through the ring of law enforcers.
The second group took the staff of ash-pump station of Prydniprovska thermal station as hostages. The unit of ‘Alfa’ released the hostages during the attempt of the ‘infiltrators’ to leave the place by car.
By the results of the training all agencies involved demonstrated high level of readiness to counter terrorist and sabotage actions and to perform their functions effectively under extreme conditions.
