SBU detects ten administrators of anti-Ukrainian communities in social networks
SBU officials detected for the last one and half month ten administrators of anti-Ukrainian communities in social networks, coordinating by Russian special services.
The law-enforcers documented that residents of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Transcarpathian and Luhansk regions supported anti-Ukrainian and pseudoradical resources. They mainly filled resources in Russian social networks. The administrators posted received from Russia materials with calls for anticonstitutional elimination of acting power, on changing of borders of Ukraine, conducting of different protest actions, in particular with the usage of mass disorders.
During the searches at administrators of anti-Ukrainian communities the SBU investigators seized computer equipment with evidences of receiving anti-Ukrainian materials from Russian special services and their posting in the social networks.
A range of criminal proceedings have been initiated. In its frameworks three offenders were notified of suspicion in commitment of crimes, stipulated by Article 109 (actions, aimed at forceful change or overthrow of constitutional order or takeover of government) and Article 110 (trespass against territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine) of the Criminal code of Ukraine.
The pretrial investigation is under way.
