Kirovohrad region: SBU conducts planned counter-sabotage command-staff HQ drills
The Coordination Group of the Anti-Terrorist Centre at the SBU Office in Kirovograd region conducted planned command-and-staff counter-sabotage trainings.
The drills participants were practising each stage of interdepartmental cooperation to detect and neutralise notional sabotage and reconnaissance groups on a military facility in the region.
The units of the Security Service of Ukraine, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Police, the National Guard, the State Emergency Service, the representatives of state authorities and local self-government participated in the event.
According to legend, the notional saboteurs attempted to get into the military facility to commit a "sabotage". The counter-terrorism units took a range of necessary measures to detect and neutralise the sabotage-reconnaissance groups.
The training helped to estimate the security and safety level of the military facility, as well as efficiency of the use of forces and means to counteract sabotage attempts.
