Zaporizzhya: SBU runs anti-terrorist training
Coordination Group of SBU Anti-terrorist Centre in Zaporizzhya region conducted the planned command-and-staff anti-terrorist training at a critical infrastructure facility.
The training sessions were maximum close to real conditions. The training was attended by regional units of SBU, the National Guard, the Police, the State Emergency Service, representatives of the regional and local authorities.
According to the script of the regional training, several sabotage and reconnaissance groups (SRG) penetrated the region and plan a number of terrorist and sabotage acts on critical infrastructure sites. The saboteurs, in particular, planned to blow up a missile and artillery munition depot of one of the military units and seize hostages in the city's main Community Centre.
The participants of the training demonstrated their readiness to counter the terrorist-sabotage actions, to serve effectively in extreme conditions. The set exercise on detecting and neutralizing the sabotage-reconnaissance groups, deactivating the laid explosive devices and hostage release tasks were conducted.
At the final stage, the command officers carefully analyzed each phase of the operation and the algorithms of actions in case of possible terrorist attacks on critical infrastructure facilities.
