SBU conducts anti-terrorist training in Ternopil
On November 25, the Anti-terrorist Center Coordination Group under the SBU office in Ternopil region conducted planned command-staff anti-terrorist training in the base of National Teachers College.
The chiefs of the SBU regional offices, the National Police, State Emergency Service, State Penitentiary Service, commanders of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the National Guard, officials of state and local authorities took part in the training.
The organizers of the training tried to maximally bring the tasks in line with the real ones in order to check the readiness of the servicemen to react quickly on threats of sabotage and terrorist attacks and the level of protection of the College. Countering a deemed sabotage terrorist group the staff members and subordinate to them units worked out the measures aimed at neutralizing the criminals, revealing and removing of mines. In addition, the Anti-terrorist Center Coordination Group conducted an additional check of readiness of all the participants of the training to counter terrorism in circumstances of defined level of terrorist threat.
The training leadership appreciated the level of performing the tasks by the participants and analyzed certain drawbacks of interaction during task performance.
