SBU Head passes Heroes’ portraits of Nevydyma Varta art exhibition to relatives of fallen officers (video)
Kyiv – In the SBU Culture and Arts Center Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Hrytsak opened Nevydyma Varta art exhibition dedicated to colleagues who gave their lives for the Motherland.
Pictures were painted by SBU officer Lesia Shydenko who decided to pass portraits of fifteen Heroes to their families. Vasyl Hrytsak, presenting pictures to the relatives, said: “Portraits of your sons, husbands, fathers, I have the honour to present you, were created with all heart of their colleague”. According to him, not only the family, fellows and close friends are proud of Heroes, but also all Ukrainians remember them.
“Our holy duty is to retain the memory of our friends and brothers who perished defending independence and territorial integrity of Ukraine, having made military commitments with dignity,” – Vasyl Hrytsak stressed.
He is sure that native land, for which Heroes laid down lives, will be released from the enemy. “I thank parents for upbringing sons, express my condolences to relatives. We will always remember them and never leave you,” – the SBU Head said.
