Poltava region: SBU conducts anti-terrorist training
The Security Service of Ukraine conducted a scheduled counter-terrorist training in Poltava region.
The regional subdivisions of the SBU, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Police, the State Border Guard Service, the National Guard and the State Service for Emergency Situations took part in the trainings conducted in close-to-real conditions.
The officers worked out an algorithm of joint actions to prevent possible terrorist threats at various infrastructure objects of the region. The participants also practiced a set of measures on identifying, neutralizing and deactivating the pretended terrorists. At the final stage of the training, special forces carried out an assault operation aimed at “terrorists” deactivation.
At the final stage of the training, the commanders carefully analyzed each phase of the anti-terrorist operation, noting the high level of preparation of the counter-terrorism units for tasks on preventing and terminating sabotage and terrorist acts and consequence mitigation.
