Mykhailo Libruk was born on October 4, 1971 in Lviv.

He began military service in the SSU in February 1997 as an ensign. After graduating from the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, he was gradually promoted to the rank of major, working in various operational units of the SSU Office in Lviv region.

When the operational group of the SSU Office in Lviv region was preparing for secondment to the ATO area, Mykhailo wrote the request to include him into the group.

Major Libruk died on December 12, 2016 while performing military service in the city of Shchastia in the ATO area.

Mykhailo is survived by his wife and son.
