Olexandr Tkachov was born on June 29, 1977.

He devoted 17 years to military service, most of which was in operational unit.

After the occupation of part of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, patriotic officers continued to perform special tasks, documented terrorist crimes, and collected valuable information.

Senior Lieutenant Tkachov died on October 2, 2014 at the hands of pro-Russian militants while gathering intelligence in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region.

Olexandr is survived by a son and a daughter.
