Based on the SBU materials, militant of the “DNR” terrorist organization was sentenced to five years of imprisonment.

A resident of Shakhtarsk, staying in Donetsk region in detention places for committing a serious crime, was discharged from imprisonment in April 2014 upon the condition that he will join the ranks of illegal armed formations. Being a member of armed formation, he took an active part in the hostilities against the ATO forces, in particular, he spotted artillery stanks of Ukrainian units.

A militant is also involved in the smuggling of military equipment, weapons and ammunition from Russia to temporarily uncontrolled territory of Donetsk region.

In August 2019 SBU CI officers detained offender in Zaporizhia region, where he arrived to his relatives.

Sloviiansk municipal district court found detainee’s guilty of committing a crime under Art. 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The investigation in the criminal proceedings was conducted by the investigators of the SBU Office in Zaporizhia region.
