The Coordination Group of Anti-terrorist Centre at the SBU Office in Chernivtsi region conducted anti-terrorist trainings on the basis of “Chernivtsi” Leonid Kadeniuk International Airport”.

The event was attended by representatives of the SBU regional offices, National Police, the State Border Guard Service, representatives of the airport aviation security and others.

The participants of the exercises carried out a set of measures to neutralize the conditional terrorists who, according to the legend, held hostages and tried to seize the plane.

Due to the coordinated and quick actions of law-enforcement officers, the attackers were detained, the hostages were released, and the models of improvised explosive devices were neutralized.

Conducted by the ATC Coordination Group analysis of each of the training stages showed effective inter-agency cooperation and a high level of readiness of the training participants to counter terrorist-sabotage manifestations in extreme conditions.
