Luhansk region: SBU CI Department blocks regular traffic of illegal processing of social benefits

SBU CI Department blocked another traffic of illegal receiving of Ukrainian social benefits.

An entrepreneur from the temporarily occupied Luhansk, who was engaged in passenger transportation to the territory controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, provided services of processing social benefits “by correspondence”.

Law enforcement officers stopped the dealer at the “Mayorske” checkpoint during the trip to Sieverodonetsk, where he proceeded for another illegal processing of social benefits. Nearly fifty bank cards, a large number of notarial proxies and documents of residents of the temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region were detected at a man.

Currently, information about the involvement in the illegal activities of the so-called “MGB LNR", as well as the availability of former and acting militants of illegal armed formations among the clients of a dealer, is being checked. Officials of Ukrainian state institutions, possibly involved in the illegal operation of the scheme are being established.

It should be recalled that in January 2020, the SBU has exposed two dealers from the temporarily occupied Alchevsk, who organized the illegal processing of Ukrainian social benefits in the interests of the so-called “MGB LNR”.
