A native of Khmelnitskyi region, who according to the investigation, carried out in Lviv an arson of vehicle, belonging to spouses of journalists Halyna and Vasyl Tereshchuk, was detained in Odesa.

The operatives of the SBU Office in Lviv region with representatives of other law enforcement agencies have established a person and the route of moving the attacker, who after the committed arrived to Odesa. It is recorded that after escaping from the place of arson, the performer changed appearance for several times. 

Within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated under Part 2 Art. 194 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the detainee was served a notice of suspicion of committing the crime.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing. The involvement of other persons, including the customer into the crime is being established.

Measures to expose an offender were conducted with the National Police investigators under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office of Lviv region.
