SBU Office in Rivne region officers prevented the contract murder of the businessman and detained the organizer of the crime.

Operatives of the special service received information that a resident of Rivne is looking among representatives of local criminal circles the perpetrator of murder.

An ex-husband, a private entrepreneur from Khmelnytskyi region, had to become a victim. In the case of his death, the woman would have received a considerable wealth, because the offender would have get his property. For the crime she proposed to pay USD 4.5 thousand.

SBU officers faked the murder of entrepreneur. The fake video was made to provide "evidence of victim’s killing”.

The contractor was detained in Rivne near her accommodation during the transfer of money to the “killer”.

Within the framework of criminal proceedings initiated under Part 1 Art. 14, Part 2 Art. 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine the issue of serving a notice of suspicion and choosing the measure of restraint is being settled.

The sanction under this article envisages imprisonment for a term up to 15 years.

The detection operation was conducted jointly with the National Police under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Khmelnytskyi region.
