SBU with the Prosecutor's Office identified a man, who reasonably is suspected of the order of arson attack on car of "Radio Liberty" journalist in Lviv.

In particular, previously convicted and famous in criminal circles for smuggling and theft of fuel from Lviv Railway resident of Lviv is suspected of the order of crime.

According to the investigation, he involved in the arson attack the official of Frankivsk unit of police of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv region. The policeman chose the perpetrator and transferred the money for the executed "work". At the moment the probable organizer is hiding from the investigation abroad, he was served suspicion note in absentia and was put on international wanted list.

The issue of choosing a measure of restraint in the form of custody is being decided. 

The previous legal qualification of crime under Part 2 Art. 347-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Measures to expose an offender were conducted under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office of Lviv region.

We recall that, arson attack on the car of journalist took place in the night of January 30, 2020 at the Kubiyovycha Street in Lviv. Law enforcement officers detained perpetrator of crime in Odesa. 19-years old resident of Khmelnytskyi was served suspicion note, and custody was chosen as a preventive measure for him.
