The Security Service of Ukraine detected cache with militry destruction means in Luhansk region.

According to preliminary investigation, a resident of Lysychansk who joined the illegal armed formations of the so-called "LPR" in 2014, left weapons cache at her place of residence.

The law enforcement officers seized five VOG 17-M grenade launcher rounds, three grenades of various modifications, improvised explosive device, blasters, explosive substance, two SP-26 signal cartridges and over hundred rounds of different caliber from the cache arranged in the garage of a private house.

The investigative actions on establishing all circumstances of the committed offence and bringing to responsibility of people involved in the illegal activity are under way. At the beginning of this year the SBU investigators have already served to the involved person notice of suspicion of committing a crime, stipulated by Part 2 Art. 260 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Measures to seize the destruction means were conducted jointly with the National Police under the procedural guidance of the Lysychansk local Prosecutor's Office.
