The Security Service of Ukraine exposed the head of one of village communities of Khmelnytskyi region, involved in obtaining illegal benefit.

According to the investigation, official demanded money from a representative of local commercial structure. For USD 1500 he promised an entrepreneur assistance in resolving the issue on allocation of land plot for quarry mining.

The law enforcement officers detained official in his car after receiving the entire amount of illegal financial benefit.

The issue of serving to involved person a notice of suspicion of committing a crime under Part 3 Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being settled. The investigation is ongoing. The operation was conducted jointly with the investigators of the Department of Strategic Investigations of the National Police under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Khmelnytskyi region.
