Luhansk region: SBU uncovers two caches with anti-tank mines and mortar shells

SBU revealed two cashes with munitions in Luhansk region.

Law enforcement officers seized eleven ТМ-62 anti-tank blast mines (total weight 83 kg of TNT), over 30 artillery shells and PG-7 grenade launcher near Triohizbenka village.

SBU officers uncovered another cache in Lysychansk. Munitions were stored in a private garage, which, according to intelligence, belonged to the former “LNR” militant. The SBU seized four mortar shells, two TNT blocks (total weight 400g), six F-1 grenades and ammo of 7,62 mm calibre.

Pre-trial investigation is under way in order to establish all the crime conditions and to bring other persons involved in the illegal activity to responsibility.

The operation was conducted with the National Police and pyrotechnical units of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service.
