The cadets team of the Judicial Institute at SBU Yaroslav the Wise National law University won the National Moot Court Competition on International Criminal Law.

The Competition took place on the 7th-8th March in Lviv, teams from 28 law universities participated in the event.

The Competition is aimed to deepen knowledge in the field of international criminal law and humanitarian law.

The Competition was conducted in two phases: during the first one judges estimated written memos of cases for the prosecution and for the defence, and during the second one the participants were to speak in simulated International Criminal Court.

Juridical Personnel Training Institute team had an impressive victory in both phases, won the main trophy of the Competition, as well as diplomas and gift certificates.
