SBU blocked in Transcarpathian region attempt of illegal export of large batch of antiepidemic goods, banned from export by the government.

The Transcarpathian Customs officers stopped a van, going to a EU country, at “Tysa” checkpoint. During the customs inspection, the officers seized 80,000 of respiratory masks, banned from export by the government due to the epidemiological situation in Ukraine.

Apart from that, the suspects entered false data into the customs declaration. The total cost of the undeclared goods amounts to UAH 3,4 million (USD 130,000).

The goods are confiscated in accordance with the Art. 472 of the Customs Code of Ukraine.
