SBU exposed a cache with military weapons and munitions in Kherson region.

SBU employees established that the cache was set up in a dilapidated building in Tomaryne town of Beryslavskyi district. The law enforcement seized two antitank mines, one defensive hand grenade, one antipersonnel mine, two grenade fuses and almost 400 large-caliber cartridges.

The investigation upon the fact of unlawful handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives (Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the case.

The law enforcement is currently checking whether the weapons were taken from the Joint Forces Operation area.

The operation was conducted jointly with the Beryslavskyi district Police Department of the Main Department of National Police in Kherson region.
