The Security Service of Ukraine has discovered an arsenal of weapons, ammo and explosives in the village of Yavora, Lviv region.

Law enforcement officers seized a 400-gram TNT bomb, an RPG-26 grenade launcher, six RGD-5 grenades, one F-1 and five hand grenade fuses from a cache equipped on the site of the former production base. The weapons and rounds were wrapped in old blankets and hidden between the brick overlapping.

Within the framework of the criminal proceedings stipulated by Part 1 Art.263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine the investigative actions are ongoing to establish the sources of the weapons origin  and those involved in the arrangement of the caches.

Measures to counter illegal arms trafficking were carried out jointly with the National Police under the legal supervision of the Sambir local Prosecutor's Office.
