SBU CI helps to convict militants’ informant to 5-year imprisonment
An accomplice of the militants, exposed by the SBU for passing intelligence to terrorists of the so-called "LNR", was sentenced to imprisonment.
SBU CI established that a resident of Luhansk region was collecting intelligence on deployment and relocation of Ukrainian military units in the region. She passed the information to the leaders of the so-called "2nd Army Corps of the People's Militia of the LNR".
The court found the defendant guilty of facilitating the activities of the terrorist organization and sentenced her to 5 years in prison.
The Supreme Court of Ukraine rejected the convict's cassation appeal and upheld the earlier verdict.
