SBU uncovers three caches with inti-tank mines, TNT and ammunition
During the current month, the Security Service of Ukraine in the Luhansk region has uncovered cashes with munitions, which in 2014 were set up by members of illegal armed formations at terrorist battle positions.
The law enforcement seized two anti-tank mines TM-62M and 80 rounds to a large-caliber machine gun in the territory of Smolianynove village, Novoaidarskyi district.
Officers also found six TNT grenades weighing almost 1.5 kilograms, an F-1 grenade, a fuse, electric detonators and a large amount of ammunition in house of a wanted militant in Bilovodskyi district.
Additionally, during the searches at the house where terrorists’ accomplice used to live in Hirske town, the SBU exposed a cache with a Walter pistol and ammunition of various calibers.
According to these facts, criminal proceedings were instituted under Part 1 of Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime and bring to responsibility other involved.
