The Security Service of Ukraine exposed in Kharkiv region the facts of illegal supply of drugs and protective medical suppies to the “DNR” terrorist organization.

According to the investigation of the security bodies, the local resident organized deliveries of products to the temporarily occupied districts of Donetsk region to the address of the structural subdivisions of the fake "Ministry of Health of the DNR".

The malefactor received orders from representatives of the so-called "Ministry of Health of the DNR" for the medical supplies they needed. She purchased them from official pharmacy chains and counterfeit manufacturers in the Kharkiv region, and then transported to the contact line under the guise of humanitarian aid. The couriers then transported the drugs in small batches to the temporarily occupied territories.

The SBU officers detained the offender in Kharkiv city on selling the subsequent consignment of medical products. Law enforcement officers seized medicines, protective masks, medical supplies and disinfectants. The issue of serving organizer suspicion notice of committing a crime set forth in Part 1 Art. 110-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine is being settled.

Investigations are under way to verify the possible involvement of manufacturers and suppliers of medical products, including counterfeit ones, in the facts of separatism financing. The operation was conducted under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Kharkiv region.
