SBU football team took part in opening of 6th group stage Championship of ATO Veterans League.  Six months of uncompromising struggle on the field lies ahead.

Until October 4, 96 football teams of law enforcement agencies will compete for a place in the final of the championship. The matches will be held in 42 cities of our country.

The 24 best teams of regional divisions will take part in the struggle for the main trophy of the season - the ATO Heroes Cup, traditionally in Kyiv at the Valeriy Lobanovskyi Dynamo Stadium.

We recall that the current Champion of the ATO Veterans League and the holder of the ATO Heroes Cup 2019 is a team of the SBU Central Office SB-TEAM.

ATO Veterans Football League is a permanent and large-scale program of psychological and recreational rehabilitation of veterans in Ukraine. It runs since 2015 and includes six regional divisions: "North", "South", "Centre", "Kyiv" "East" and "West."

The Championship is officially included in 2020 Unified Calendar of Sports Activities in Ukraine. The organiser of the Championship is the ATO Veterans Football Federation under the aegis of All-Ukrainian Union of ATO Veterans “Ukrayintsi razom!".

This year a record number of people take part in the Championship: 96 teams of the security and defence sector of Ukraine and ATO (JFO) veterans, which is about three thousand combatants - defenders of Ukraine.
